The NRC rating of our products ranges from .40 to .85 depending on mounting type.

• Direct mount - 0.40 NRC (typically wall coverings and tiles)
• 1" off surface - 0.65 NRC (typically panels with standoffs)
• Baffle configuration - 0.85 NRC (typically ceiling products)

All testing done at the Riverbank Labs in Geneva IL. USA.

Our products meet both the American and the Canadian fire test standards. 

• ASTM E84: Class A rating
• CAN/ULC S102: Flame Spread Classification of 15, Smoke Developed Classification of 210

Important: While our products carry excellent fire ratings, they are NOT fireproof. Keep TheQuietRoom products away from flame source and extreme heat.

Handling

• Ensure your hands are clean and free of any oils or debris prior to handling our products. We recommend using gloves to prevent any transfer of oils or contaminants. 

Cleaning

• Dust: Apply compressed air or vacuum gently. 
• Stain: For spot cleaning, apply small amounts of warm soapy water and pat dry. Use a soap that is safe for polyester. For thorough cleaning, disassemble product and steam clean. Ensure steam temperature does not exceed 215 °F (102 °C).

TheQuietRoom.ca Inc. warrants all of our products to be free of manufacturing defects for 2 years from the date of purchase. 

This warranty does not cover damage resulted from negligence, misuse, alteration, improper installation, improper cleaning, spills, stains, mold, or mildew. 

Products with manufacturing defects are eligible for repair or replacement at our discretion.
