Why are restaurants so noisey?
Many restaurants are furnished with furniture and art that does not naturally absorb sound. Restaurants used to have carpet, no they have polished concrete. They used to cloth seats, now they are made from wood. The only thing that is absorbing noise in restaurants now, is the people in them.
What can be done?
Install acoustic treatment to absorb noise. Use our acoustic clouds and grids for the ceiling and our wall panels for the walls. The challenge is fitting the treatment in with the decor. Keep in mind that most restaurants don't have any wall space to apply treatment.
How much reduction in noise can be expected?
Use our acoustic coverage calculator to figure out how much coverage you will need. A 45% reduction in reverb is the most cost effective goal, while making a huge difference in the space.
Who can install?
Any electric or drywall contractor will be able to install our acoustic treatment. We also provide detailed instructions for the lay person.
